The plan was to kill hc Hagara this reset without wasting too much time on it. Plan worked! The fight was pretty straight forward and easy to grasp. Ship next for more progress.

Another boss down and we got our eyes set on heroic Hagara next. Random DC's and some cases of "failing light" wiped us a few times, but once those were sorted we found the requirements pretty easy to meet.

After a very slow start on Dragon Soul hardmodes (yeah we've been slacking!) we killed 2 heroic bosses this reset. Zon'ozz finally gave up and Yor'sahj did not take many pulls to kill. We had a few tries on Ultraxion heroic and it did not look too bad. Hopefully we will down it without too much trouble next reset. We are still recruiting to create a stronger core.

Ragnaros finally fell over and we've now cleared all the heroic content for this tier. We are looking forward to the next tier being released in not too long.

It has been a rough and rocky transition to focus on 10 mans after raiding 25 mans for a long time. We have been busy gearing up old alts that now have become mains and several weeks with only protector loot did not help us a lot. We have accepted slow and steady progress for this tier and are happy to be working on heroic Ragnaros now. We are still working on getting together a stronger core of 10 man raiders for the next tier. Recruitment status has been updated.

We are looking for a bunch of mature, happy raiders to join us for some 10 man action. Mainly looking for Healers and DPS (ranged and melee), but we might also have a spot for an exceptional tank (not pala).

We are no longer raiding 25 mans. We will have further updates in the near future. The picture below is an old picture from when Ace was very young. Thanks to all our members and best of luck with whatever you do in the future.

We had a first look at Firelands and cleared 7/7 normal modes our first week of raiding. This week we killed Shannox heroic and we are now officially on a summer break! Although Firelands is a lot of fun it will still be here after 3 weeks of enjoying summer. Enjoy the sun!

With Firelands around the corner we are happy to have finished all the current hardmodes. Throughout this initial tier we had consistent progress even during the rougher times. I'm pretty sure we all are a bit tired of the current content by now and are all eagerly anticipating the arrival of Firelands. I want to thank all of our members that have worked hard to clear the first tier of Cataclysm content with us.

Defeating heroic Al'Akir last night means we got a little bit of time to start working on Ascendant Council tonight, which is the last encounter we need to have cleared the available content. Good job on Al'Akir!

Our sinestra kill was clean and easy after only a few nights of practice. Next heroic boss in line is Al'Akir. Thank you all for a quick Sinestra kill.

We finally got heroic Cho'Gall down after a month of very little progress including a much needed easter break. We have been messing around for weeks without getting things right, but last night magic happened as we got to last phase and 10% the first pull of the night. The boss died on the 3rd pull and screams of joy filled our vent! We had a peak at Sinestra and are quite enjoying to learn a fight which we have not already killed in normal mode.

It feels good to finally have cleared all of the heroic modes in Blackwing Descent. We KNEW we were very close to a kill on Sunday just before our raid time ended, but as we don't raid overtime we had to make sure to get back on Monday to continue where we left off. We killed it after only a few pulls on Monday. Good job!

After some time practicing both fights they both went down easily this week. Keep up the good work!

After a few nights of wiping and eventually getting things right we managed to beat the heroic Magmaw encounter.Thank you all for the effort you put in.

Our 5th heroic kill came sooner than we perhaps expected as Conclave of Wind fell over tonight. A very nice way to end this weeks raiding. Keep up the good work!

We killed heroic Maloriak last reset and tonight we downed heroic Atramedes as well. Good job everyone and let's make sure to get a 5th heroic boss down soon.

Heroic Chimaeron did put up a good fight but once we had a properly defined strategy the boss rolled over. We are now moving on towards greater things!

We have now taken our first step into Cataclysm hardmodes by defeating Halfus Wyrmbreaker in heroic mode. He went down pretty easily, but we anticipate greater challenges in the near future. Thank you all for a good job.

We have now cleaered the content in normal mode and are looking forward to hardmodes.

After a few attempts with our heads in the clouds we managed to pull ourselves together and Al'Akir went down nice and easy. We are now looking forward to getting Cho'gall down in 25 man as soon as possible.

I was going to write something rather fancy and inspiring but my mind is pretty blank in all honestly. I am so happy we got him down before the much dreaded patch. All the hard work really did matter in the end. A huge thank you to all our members that made this happen even though the road was rocky at times. You guys ROCK!

We finally managed to form a decent setup with 10 people interested in a Heroic Lich King kill in 10 man. This time we had both a hunter and a shaman in the raid as a refreshing change. We got to phase 3 the first try of the evening and from there we kept going until we got it down a couple of hours later. Well done and thank you all for sacrifcing your Friday night fun to get the King down as we don't raid 10mans on our official raid nights.

Putricide went down much easier than expected and we are now "only" missing a heroic LK kill to complete all ICC25 hardmodes. Well done all of you that participated in tonights kill and thank you for stepping up when it is needed.

Ace moved one step closer to the end of the instance after defeating heroic Sindragosa on a night when we struggled to get a good setup. We saw much greater consistency from our players which was all that was needed for us to practise the final phase a few times before defeating her.

We can add 2 more bosses to our ICC25 heroic progress which takes us to 9/12 hardmodes defeated so far. A very nice start after our easter break from raiding. Well done all.

We had a decent week in heroic ICC25 even with the lag and DC's. Heroic Crimson Hall and Dreamwalker added to our progress which takes us to 7/12 hardmodes done.

It has been a decent first week attempting hardmodes. We managed to down Marrowgar, Gunship, Rotface, Festergut and Blood Prince Council hardmodes before the server went down on Monday evening. A good first week and probably a lot more wiping incoming next reset.

Thank you all for putting up with the defiles and for rising above the frustration we all sometimes felt learning this encounter. Well done to all of you. It is a huge relief to have done this and it was amazing to hear the reaction on vent. Screams of joy straight from the heart! Hardmodes next.

We had a few problems with our setup, but once we got a decent group the fight became a lot easier. Looking forward to the 25 man version and more Defile! Thanks to those that stepped in filling a different role/spec and class to make the kill possible.

We finally managed to down Sindragosa last night after a few pretty bad wipes. We had a first look at Lich King and are eager to learn more about the encounter.

I know this is not exactly news as we healed this encounter to full last week, but as the screenshot was collecting dust on my desktop I decided to upload it. From a healing PoV the fight was quite different than normal and we quite enjoyed the change.

A fun fight which we all enjoyed a lot when we finally got a couple of tries without lag. We got the biting right and decided to bring 5 healers instead of 6 as the healing turned out to be quite "easy" without too much lag. We are now waiting for the final wing to open so we can enjoy new fights again.

It was a great feeling to down this boss after struggling a lot with it last week with lag and silly mistakes costing us so many tries. We stepped up tonight in time for the new content that is being released on Wednesday. Well done all.

I have to say fighting these 2 bosses was more about fighting the lag than anything else. We took some tries to get things right and wiped many times due to huge lag spikes midfight. A nice job from all those that participated. We appreciate the patience through all those laggy tries. The Professor is next in line and we are looking forward to learning the fight.

Finally 3.3 is out and we can experience something else than ToC. Despite crazy lag we defeated the 4 bosses available for now without too much trouble. We are looking forward to the release of more ICC bosses in a few weeks.

Ace killed Twin Val'kyr on our second night in ToGC25 after having trouble with random DC's and some mistakes on a few tries. Anub awaits us now, but we have some gearing up to do before even attempting the blue scarab. Well done everyone! We are especially happy that we were lucky enough to get 3 trinkets our first week in ToGC25!

The plan was to do 2xToGC10 last night, but as we had almost a full 25 man raid we decided to go and have a first peak at ToGC25. After a few wipes Northrend Beasts and Jaraxxus were downed and we moved onto one shotting Faction Champions before raid time was over for the night. We are pleased to see that our members and trials managed to function so well together as a team with so little time played together.

After raiding 10mans for a long time we have decided to open recruitment to venture into 25 mans again. We are looking for experienced and skilled players to join us and are currently looking for ALL classes. Officers of Ace are experienced and mature leaders that have raided and lead a guild together through all of the TBC content.
